Our client has initiated a project to undertake a series of surveys on Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) blocks pre-wired with our clients services to assess the cable condition and network connectivity for the delivery of our clients ultrafast broadband, TV and phone services.

The surveys will take place over a three-year period surveying selected MDU blocks with a height greater than 18m and pre-wired prior to 2015. There will be subsequent projects based on the survey outcomes and business decisions for remediation.

• The survey will allow our client to evidence and assure the condition of its cabling compliance for MDUs and identify any issues for remediation
• The surveys will also allow our client to evidence and assure the condition of network assets used to service each MDU

Sector: Repair and Maintenance

Key Scope: Provide technical support and maintenance; upgrade TV systems within GFSL (Gov Facility Services Limited) prison establishments

Scope of Delivery: Avonline Networks has been added to the supplier list to maintain and upgrade TV system within all GFSL, as well as providing technical support.

The currently ongoing service programme requires Avonline Networks to repair cabling infrastructure; maintain programmable head-ends and all electronic equipment; repair and upgrade all aerials and satellite dishes.

Avonline Networks also interlaces the broadcast of National Prison Radio onto these TV systems which broadcasts seven days a week, to allow relevant informed content to inmates across the 52 establishments.

Avonline Networks provides round-the-clock technical support available all days of the year. Surveys are completed by engineers with schematics and associated channel lists.
