Following the recent announcement by the Government regarding a third lockdown, we would like to take this opportunity to update you on how we will continue to support the UK economy by delivering essential national infrastructure services on behalf of our clients as critical workers.
We have undertaken a comprehensive review of the operating controls we implemented throughout the first and second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and are satisfied that these rules are effective in keeping you safe, while minimising any potential spread.
We have substantial home working arrangements in place for office-based staff and these should continue.
Line Managers should review their teams in order to ascertain who can work effectively from home and implement this change where appropriate. Whether work can ‘effectively’ be carried out from home will depend on a number of circumstances and you may be required to continue operating in the office as part of a rota system in order to effectively deliver critical day to day operations.
SHEQ personnel, in conjunction with the appointed workplace lead for each site, have reviewed each office location to make sure they are COVID-19 secure and identify the maximum occupancy at each location to ensure that those working from offices remain safe.
